WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The two Atelier bakeries in Winston-Salem have abruptly closed, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.
Atelier Bakery on Trade and Atelier Bakery on Meadowlark closed in the last few days. It’s unclear if the closings are temporary or not.
A sign on the door of Atelier Bakery on Trade, N. Trade St., said, “Regrettably closed until further notice. We sincerely apologize, but we are currently unable to operate.”
The sign included an email for inquiries. An email sent to that address and calls to the owner, Pablo del Valle, were not returned.
Atelier Bakery on Meadowlark had just opened Dec. 1 at 5395 Robinhood Village Drive in the Village at Robinhood shopping center at Robinhood Road and Meadowlark Drive.
