WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A new taco restaurant is coming to Winston-Salem, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.
Crafted: The Art of the Taco has plans to open at 527 N. Liberty St.
The managers hope to open by November, although there is no current opening date, according to the Wake Forest University Old Gold & Black.
The Journal reported that Crafted has two locations in Greensboro that are owned by chef Kristina Fuller and her mother, Rhonda Fuller.
One is called Crafted: The Art of the Taco, which opened in 2012, and the other is Crafted: The Art of Street Food, which opened in May 2015. The Fullers previously owned The Bistro at Adam’s Farm.
Crafted: The Art of the Taco is not a Mexican restaurant. Instead, Kris Fuller challenges herself to create new takes on the taco. Flavor combinations include beef brisket, grilled pineapple and Asian mustard, and falafel and pickled cucumbers.
