WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Twin Peaks restaurant is going into the former Romano’s Macaroni Grill off Hanes Mall Boulevard, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

The building is being renovated at 1915 Hampton Inn Court by a Twin Peaks franchisee based in Atlanta, Ga. The franchisee could not be reached for comment.

Twin Peaks, based in Dallas, Texas, describes its locations as sports lodge restaurants.

It is known for its mountain sports lodge setting and waitresses called Twin Peaks Girls who wear revealing uniforms.

The chain, which is a competitor to Hooters, uses the tagline: “Eats. Drinks. Scenic Views.”

According to the Twin Peaks website, the restaurants offer made-from-scratch food, draft beer served at 29 degrees and flat-screen TVs.

“We’ve got the classics you adore like hand-cut and breaded Mozzarella Cheese Bites, Buffalo wings in four flavors, and our caramelized onion-slathered Twin Cheeseburger,” the chain says in the menu section on its website. “You can also feast on Twin Peaks signatures, such as grilled Green Chili Meatloaf, Pulled Pork Sliders, or butter-brushed Sirloin Steak.”
